Teacher Consultation Service
Are you struggling with implementing Indigenous-based Education in your classroom? Are you wanting to discuss Decolonization with your students, but unsure where to start? This hour-long session allows teachers to ask questions, have enriching discussions, and more. We ask that you send us an outline of what you would like to discuss and any questions you have prior to the session so that we can ensure your questions are answered within the time constraints.
This session is best suited for individuals.
Bring Decolonization education to your classroom! We offer Decolonization education for elementary and secondary students of all ages that helps inquisitive, developing minds learn how to start Decolonizing their lens through an interactive, in-person workshop.
Please note: Classroom visits are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We offer Decolonization education for post-secondary students, too! The content of this session is dependent on the class syllabus, the length permitted, and other variables. Andrea holds an Adult Educator Diploma, and is certified to educate in a post-secondary setting.
Please note: Guest lectures are currently only offered online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Like the Canadian justice system, some thing just need to start from scratch. We can help! We offer curriculum development for organizations and educators that focuses on Decolonization, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Due to content requirements, timelines will vary.
Please note: Curriculum development offerings are limited.
An 8-10 week internal audit of policies, procedures, website, social media accounts, and more. During this Scan, we identify barriers of all kinds (including, but not limited to: racial, cultural, classist, ableist, and homo- and trans-phobic barriers) and offer solutions and recommendations that help make your organization and its procedures accessible for all people; after all, what’s good for Indigenous people is good for everyone.
PREREQUISITE: We ask that organizations participate in our Introduction to Decolonization Workshop Series prior to undergoing a Decolonization Scan.
It’s not uncommon for participants to have questions after spending time processing the workshops. Participants can re-convene with us 4-6 weeks after the workshop for this Q&A session. We ask participants to submit questions in advance so that we have time to answer these questions, participate in enriching discussions that further participants’ knowledge and understanding, and answer any other questions that may surface during the session.
PREREQUISITE: Organizations must participate in our Introduction to Decolonization Workshop Series prior to booking a post-workshop Q&A.

Don’t just take Our Word For It
“Rhiannon and Andrea were easy to communicate with and provided a very comfortable environment for our team to engage in difficult discussions. The historical lessons were eye opening, and the overall presentation was well planned and thoughtfully delivered.”
“The workshop facilitated by Rhiannon and Andrea was a meaningful way for the international participants in the Youth Peace Network to learn about the true history of Canada, and sparked conversations about reconciliation and Decolonisation efforts around the world. It was exciting to see the solidarity forming in the group. I am grateful that the facilitators were able to skillfully hold space for brave and challenging conversations, and highly recommend their workshops.”
